Available Teaching Jobs

Alberto Said:

What sorts of jobs that *aren't* teaching jobs are available to do on a working holiday in Japan? ?

We Answered:

Lots of foreigners in Japan work as bartenders, work at ski lodges in Hokkaido, etc. Maybe you can get a job as a waitress at an American restaurant. Maybe, if you're somewhat good-looking, you can be a model, or act in a Japanese drama or movie. Since they don't have to get your visa for you, you'll look appealing with that Working Holiday visa. I think the hospitality industry is a possibility for you, as well. You could work at a hotel or youth hostel, where your ability to communicate with foreigners would be considered valuable.
