Isaac Said:Setting up a flash tank?
We Answered:I am not familiar with Methane, but for any flashing liquid (like steam condensate or a refrigerant) you also need to know the pressure to be maintained in the flash chamber in order to determine the percentage (or fraction by weight) of flash of the entering fluid. You have stated what the entering fluid temp and press are.
This fraction can be determined from a Mollier Diagram for steam. The Keenan and Keyes Steam Tables can also be used.
Are there a similar diagram or tables for Methane ?
Make sure you are using absolute pressures (gage +15). Also is the "hysys" program set up for F or Absolute temp
(F + 459) ?
April Said:Wearing a tie in the office - legal aspects?
We Answered:They may insist you wear knee length skirts instead.
Peggy Said:Liver cancer case-last stage- request opinion of expert-can it still be cured?
We Answered:She has pancreatic cancer not liver cancer. Surgery for this cancer is very extensive and not an option in 80% of the cases and certainly not for stage 4 disease. I’m sorry to say this is not curable. Her oncologist is the expert and should have explained this.
Glenn Said:Do I need a MBA to enter the HR field?
We Answered:An MBA is not necessary but it could be helpful and leaves you much more flexible in choosing a career. However, you are much better off getting a job, or keeping the one you have, because good MBA programs want students with 2-4 years work experience after graduation. Some accept students right out of college if they have good grades and a high GMAT score. Some MBA programs are designed specifically for new college graduates without work experience. But in those programs you don't get the benefit of learning from other students who have work experience. A lot of valuable learning takes place through class interaction.
Explore the Official MBA Guide. It's a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, executive, and accelerated), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. Schools report their accreditation status, tuition cost, number of students, class sizes, program length, and a lot of other data. Schools provide data on entrance requirements, program costs, program characteristics, joint degrees, and much more. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria.
